“Hansel and Gretel” is a magical family concert based on one of the Brothers Grimm’s most beautiful stories. Everyone is on the edge of their seats as the hungry siblings, lost alone in the forest, find themselves at a loss and encounter the wicked witch with her delicious gingerbread house. And everyone is relieved when, in the end, the wicked witch herself turns into gingerbread and everything turns out all right. The wonderful melodies from Engelbert Humperdinck’s world-famous opera promise a musical adventure featuring classical hits, excitement and humour for fairy-tale lovers of all ages.
The concert hall in the Wallpavillon is located on the upper level of the Dresden Zwinger Palace and can be reached from Theaterplatz or via steps from the Zwingerinnenhof. Please note that the toilets are located outside the concert hall and concert hall and toilets are not barriere-free accessible.
