Electoral-Saxon Summer – A Culture Festival in the European Spa Region

Established in 1996 as the festival of the European spa region, the annual Electoral-Saxon Summer is traditionally opened on the Royal Grounds of Bad Elster on May 1. The festival lasts until October, hosting around 300 excellent cultural events of various genres in Bad Elster, Bad Brambach and around 40 carefully selected locations in Bavaria, Bohemia, Saxony and Thuringia – right here in the heart of Europe.
