27th Fairytale - Christmas Market Colditz Castle

Colditz Castle is once again the setting for the 27th Fairytale Castle Christmas this year.
Culture and crafts, set against the historic backdrop and illuminated in the most beautiful colours of the festive season, await your visit.

Enjoy this special experience whilst cosily sitting by the tiled stove in the Hofstube, at the illuminated wooden huts offering a wide variety of culinary delights, or find a gift or two in the vaulted cellars. We’ll also make children’s eyes light up – whether with Frau Holle, dance performances or Father Christmas, there’s something for young and old alike.

You can view the full programme on the website of Colditz Stadt, Land, Schloss gGmbH. (Coming soon)

Colditz Castle Museum is not open to individual visitors this weekend.
Visits are only possible as part of the "Guided Tour 90 minutes".
These take place once on Saturday and once on Sunday. Advance booking is required.
