The reduced fare is normally 50% and is given to children aged 6–15 or older if still at school, vocational trainees, students, people doing military service or alternative civilian service, unemployed people and disabled people as well as members of the ICOM, ICOMOS and the German Art Historian Association. Proof of status must be provided in each case.
Free admission is granted for visitors on their birthday, children who are 6 or younger, companions of severely disabled people, tour guides, coach drivers, one chaperone per 10 schoolchildren and holders of a valid press pass. Proof of status must be provided in each case.
The state buildings offer special rates for two adults with a maximum of four children or for one adult with a maximum of two children.
The group rate applies to groups of fifteen or more people and represents a discount of 20 % on the regular admission price.
Special reductions are available for school groups.
