Visitors are expected to enjoy a flower and garden show in the area of the former Cistercian monastery, the Altzella Monastery Park, with a wide range of plants, special offers and expert advice on everything around gardening.
Reach for the top! In the new permanent exhibition, visitors will experience, apart from its history of being used as a place of manufacture, the residential areas in the castle, its historical conversion and aspects of Saxon state history.
Newly discover the fortress, the place where in 1707 Johann Friedrich Boettger invented the European porcelain in his laboratory deeply underneath the Virgin’s Bastion.
