The Staatliche Schlösser, Burgen und Gärten Sachsen gemeinnützige GmbH (SBG gGmbH) value highly the protection of your personal data. Therefore, we have taken technical and organizational measures to make sure that the regulations regarding data protection are observed.

Legal Foundations

With its website, the SBG gGmbH offers teleservices. Hence, this portal is subject to the provisions of the German Telemedia Act (TMG). And generally, also the act on the protection of informational self-determination in the Free State of Saxony (Saxon Data Protection Act – SächsDSG) applies.

When calling up and viewing, no personal data is stored. We use the Google Analytics service for statistical purposes. Complete IP addresses are not processes in that context and saved only in an abbreviated form.

Entry of Personal Data

Using the contact form, order forms and other inline services requires to enter personal data (name, address, e-mail) to have the required services rendered. All personal details are recorded and saved for the respective service exclusively. They are, under no circumstances, disclosed to third parties.

Contact Form

There is a form available for establishing contact with us, into which your name, first name, e-mail address and a message can be entered. The message, when sent by using that contact form, does not automatically get encrypted. Obtaining knowledge of it by third parties without the message being encrypted cannot be precluded.

Order Forms

In order to receive information or material from the SBG gGmbH, the data necessary for such despatch needs to be registered. This data is collected in each single event for processing the order only and is not passed on to third parties. Personal data sent to SBG for an order is used as follows:

  • Evaluation for internal statistical purposes
  • Use for optimizing user-friendliness (e.g., if you provide us with information or for us to answer your questions regarding the ordering process) 
  • Use for marketing campaigns (such as the newsletter) if you have approved subscription to it.


We process your personal data, particularly your contact details for processing your order. For credit assessment purposes, we may draw on information (e.g., a so-called score value) from external service providers.


To receive the SBG gGmbH newsletter, a valid e-mail address must be provided. This is stored in a database, together with the settings for the newsletter receipt and is the basis for performing that service. The saved e-mail address serves, at the same time, to enable access for the user to modify their settings or to cancel subscription to the newsletter.

Social Networks

When surfing the pages of, no data is transferred, by standard, to linked social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Google+). Thus, there is no user tracking by third parties. The contact to a social network is established only if one of the »Share« buttons of the social networks has actively been clicked on. Thereby, the selected social network opens in a new window/tab and the following data only is transmitted:
